Take some time to write out what you are thankful for. Put the list on paper. Keep it going. See how long it gets. No item is too big or small for this list. Don’t feel confined to list form. If a poem grows or a story… let it!

Stuck on something? Take an old, unfinished piece and take another look at it. If you were stuck try taking it in a different direction. Make a U-turn. Instead of turning right at the fork in the road, go left. Perhaps your piece wants to be something else.
