Micromoments are six word stories or poems. Take ten minutes and create as many as you can to describe you story, longer poem, or essay. Then leave them alone for a while. Come back no less than an hour later and see where some of them take you.

Pick one of the seven deadly sins, the one that speaks to you the most, and write about it. If necessary, you can choose more than one. Try to get at least a page or more out of it. How does it speak to you?
Seven Deadly Sins:

Take your main character, or one you create, through a stream of consciousness. Write what would go through their mind in a five minute period. It doesn’t have to make sense.

Go outside. Stand in one spot. Turn slowly in a cirlce, taking in all the scenery around you. Then do the same thing but in the opposite direction. Now go back inside, or away from where you just were, and write down everything you just saw. Be as specific and descriptive as possible.

Think of something that you really want… but for all intents and purpose can’t have. (I don’t like the word can’t.)
Now… write your argument on why you should have it. Give it the hard sell. Throw out your best sales pitch.

Sorry to have fallen behind…
13/30
Write from the perspective or your favorite super hero or villain (not their alter ego) ordering coffee from Starbucks.
14/30
Exercise your use of imagery. Describe something in a poem or prose without actually saying that that something is.
15/30
Create a bucket list for your character. Or create one for yourself and turn it into a poem or an essay.
16/30
Perform a brain dump. Take thirty minutes and just empty the entire contents of your brain onto some paper or into a word document. Do no editing. Do no formatting. Just write it all down. You can sort through it later.
Happy Writing!
Write about your alter ego. If you want, you can describe both your Superman and your Clark Kent. Compare and contrast. You could write a love letter from one to the other. Or you could send hate mail.
